From September 2024, you will need to provide a 6-digit code in addition to your email address and password whenever you log in. This process is called Multi-Factor Authentication, and it helps us to verify that you are who you say you are and keep your private data even more secure.
The process is very simple. Enter your email address and password to log in to PayDashboard. You will be asked to verify some information from a previous payslip (such as your National Insurance number or postcode) the first time you use MFA. If you do not know this information by heart you may wish to download a payslip in advance or you can request the information from your employer.
Once you have verified this information, you will be able to select your chosen MFA method. You can select email or SMS (text message). To enable SMS, you will need to enter your mobile phone number. You will then be sent a 6-digit code via your chosen method.
Enter the 6-digit code to verify your login. That’s it!
Each time you log in you will receive a 6-digit code by email or SMS which you can enter to complete verification.
If you do would prefer to verify your identity using biometrics when you log in, you can download our mobile app and set this up on your mobile device.
